LISBON SHIPPING OVERVIEW






LISBON SHIPPING OVERVIEW: images and comments on Lisbon ships registered 23 April 2007: The beauty and the floating box, or the cruise ship SAGA ROSE and the RAMFORM CHALLENGER in Alcântara; the Malta registered, Greek owned bulk carrier MENDOCINO sailing up the river Tagus from the Palença bulk terminal to the Mar da Palha anchorage. The MENDOCINO (39.727 GT / built 2002) arrived in Lisbon on 18 April from Paranagua, Brazil, with a cargo of soya beans and corn.
The container feeder ship AMSTELDIEP (4.099 GT / built 1996) was photographed alongside the Liscont container terminal at Alcântara. At the same terminal is also the Italian reefer containership CALA PINO (14.868 GT / built 1999) with the Sacor Marítima tanker GALP SADO alongside for bunkers.
